For more than a decade, Pastor Riva as hosted Cox Media Radio Program “Morning Inspiration and Sunday Morning Inspiration.” She was a 2010 People’s Choice Award nominee; she received the National Association of Professional Women Woman of the Year Award 2010/2011 and in 2012 Yolanda Adams presented Pastor Riva with the Lady of the Year Award. In Jan 2017, Dr. Riva was a recipient of the prestigious President’s Lifetime Achievement Award presented on behalf of President Barack Obama. Pastor Riva’s book When It All Falls Apart was released in March 2012, her eBook Freedom Through Forgiveness was released in September 2016 and she completed her third book When It All Comes Together released in 2017. Pastor Riva has also produced a CD project single “Incredible God” released August 2014 and on her record label Zion Records. Her most recent book Convergence - Reimagine the Possibilities of You was released September 2023. Pastor Riva has had the prestige honor of being recognized as a sought-after Speaker, MC and Conference host. Pastor Riva has made various national television appearances on Life Today with James and Betty Robison, The 700 Club, TBN and The Joni Lamb Show to name a few. Pastor Riva ministers to thousands of women through her own nationally recognized Women’s Conference “Woman at the Well” in addition to sharing platforms across the nation for other women’s conferences. Pastor Riva openly expresses her greatest joy in life is being a mother of love and excellence for her four adult children. In 2021 Dr. Riva married Dr. Robert J. Watkins and together they pursue both ministry and business endeavors alike.
