ATLANTA — Georgia is ranked as one of the hardest-working states in America this year, according to a new Wallet Hub study.
Wallet hub compared the 50 states across 10 key metrics, including average workweek hours, to share of workers with multiple jobs, to annual volunteer hours per resident.
Georgia was ranked No. 12 overall on the study.
North Dakota was ranked as the hardest-working state, in part because it has the third-highest employment rate in the United States, at nearly 98%.
